What is the Best Holster for a Glock 23 For Conceal Carry?

    By admin | March 13, 2009

People often ask if there is a good holster for conceal carry for a glock 23. Is there one that makes it easy to get in and out of the car without it digging into your side?

Buying a holster is much like buying a wallet. Some prefer a single fold, while others like the tri-fold, and others still prefer a simple clip. What seems comfortable to one would be absolutely wrong for another.

Your purpose for concealed carry would help to define the type holster you need. Do you need to maintain easy access and usability or is it simply a method of transporting your pistol. If you goal is just to transport, a trip to the local camera store might be in order.

A very non obtrusive looking zip closure camera bag might fit the bill. You can attach it to your belt-no shoulder straps, etc. Easy to access-not uncomfortable. Carry it on either right or left side.

If you need that easy access and usability, or just prefer a holster, make sure to find one that protects the trigger.
